Planning a drive on the Skyway, SLEX or MCX? The toll you pay depends on your vehicle class and on where you enter and exit. This guide explains how the fare is set, lists sample fares from the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) matrix effective 1 July 2026, and walks through a full trip cost example with fuel included.
How the Skyway-SLEX-MCX toll is set
The Skyway, SLEX and MCX work as one integrated system, and the TRB publishes one rate matrix for all three. You pay one fixed fare for each pair of entry and exit points. The fare for a trip is the same in both directions, so Magallanes to Calamba costs the same as Calamba to Magallanes.
A few pairs have no fare in the matrix, for example between the Skyway and Magallanes. Merville is priced only with Magallanes: ₱49 for Class 1, ₱98 for Class 2 and ₱147 for Class 3.
Vehicle classes
The matrix has three vehicle classes:
- Class 1: cars, SUVs and vans
- Class 2: buses and light trucks
- Class 3: large trucks and trailers
The fare rises a lot with the class. On most trips Class 2 costs about twice as much as Class 1, and Class 3 about three times as much. For the exact classification of your vehicle, check the TRB.

Example: what a trip really costs
Toll is only part of the cost of a drive. Here is a worked example for a Class 1 car going from Magallanes to Calamba and back the same day. The distance and fuel price below are example numbers only. Replace them with your own.
- Toll: ₱255 each way, so ₱510 for the round trip
- Fuel: assume 100 km each way, so 200 km in total. At 10 km per liter that is 20 liters. At an example price of ₱60 per liter, fuel costs ₱1,200
- Other costs: ₱100 for parking
The total is ₱510 + ₱1,200 + ₱100 = ₱1,810. If four people share the cost, each person pays ₱452.50.

Tips before you drive
- Know your exit before you enter. The fare depends on the exit point, so plan it first.
- Check your class. Choosing the wrong class changes the fare a lot.
- Check your RFID. The Skyway, SLEX and MCX use Autosweep. Make sure your account has enough balance before you leave.
- Rates can change. Check the TRB for the latest matrix before a long trip.
